Current Book I’m Reading #1

I recently started reading a new book and I am about 5 chapters in and the book I’m reading is

To all the boys i’ve loved before – by Jenny Han

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before is the story of Lara Jean, who has never openly admitted her crushes, but instead wrote each boy a letter about how she felt, sealed it, and hid it in a box under her bed. But one day Lara Jean discovers that somehow her secret box of letters has been mailed, causing all her crushes from her past to confront her about the letters: her first kiss, the boy from summer camp, even her sister’s ex-boyfriend, Josh. As she learns to deal with her past loves face to face, Lara Jean discovers that something good may come out of these letters after all.
my thoughts so far-
So far so good, this book seems like an easy read and it seems like something I would enjoy. In the few chapters I have read you have gotten a deep inside into the characters and their personalities. I think I am going to thoroughly enjoy this book
let me know if you have read this book, and If so what did you think of it.

Book Review – My Life Next Door

I was looking through my blog and I realised I haven’t done a book review in a while. I bought a lot of books when I went on my trip to Hawaii and I have already finished one so I thought I would review it.

My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick

The Garretts are everything the Reeds are not. Loud, messy, affectionate. And every day from her rooftop perch, Samantha Reed wishes she was one of them . . . until one summer evening, Jase Garrett climbs up next to her and changes everything.

As the two fall fiercely for each other, stumbling through the awkwardness and awesomeness of first love, Jase’s family embraces Samantha – even as she keeps him a secret from her own. Then something unthinkable happens, and the bottom drops out of Samantha’s world. She’s suddenly faced with an impossible decision. Which perfect family will save her? Or is it time she saved herself?

I have been wanting this book for a while and it was at the top of my goodreads wishlist. I went to Barnes and Noble and went looking for it. I had heard it was a good summer read and seeing as it is summer here in Australia I thought it was the perfect timing.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and read it in only a couple of hours. It was an easy to read simple nice book.

When seeing the cover I’m sure you think ‘Oh its a corny romance’ But it isn’t there was lots of drama and they weren’t a perfect couple they had their problems too. I liked that they got together quite early in the book so you could see their relationship grow and not them just get together in the end and you wonder what happens next. I really enjoyed the characters and that you got to get to know his big family. The author is an amazing writer and really knows how to captivate her audience and I cant wait to read more of her books.

I rate this a 5/5

I suggest this to: everyone who loves a bit of romance

Hope you all enjoyed. Let me know what you think and if you have read this book

What I Bought In Hawaii

My family and I went on a trip to Hawaii and I was excited as they have different shops than Australia so I did some damage and bought quite alot. I thought you would all enjoy to see what I got so here it goes.

I got these cute matching pyjama set from forever 21 it was $10 for both!

I also got this denim jacket for forever 21. I bought it to go over my dresses when it gets a bit cooler.

I got these boots from H and M and fell in love with them. I wish I would have gotten the black ones as well but I didnt have enough room in my suitcase.

These are most definitely my favourite and most exciting purchases. I finally got the naked 3 palette and the mac neutrals palette, I am in love with these and will have to do a review sometime soon.

I went to bath and body works and they were having a massive new years sale so I made the most of it and got this 3 wick butterscotch candle for $10 and it smells amazing.

Having thick hair can be a blessing and a curse as my hair always has tangles so from forever 21 I got a tangle teaser and so far so good it works well.

I got these simple black jazz style shoes from forever 21

I have been needing a new pair of joggers for school but didnt really see any that caught my eye but I fell in love with these Nike free runs and they were a reasonable price!

_PAS7611I have been after this book for so long and I hadn’t seen it anywhere in bookshops in Australia but I finally got my hands on it and I love it. The rookie Yearbook is every bloggers dream book!! I now need to get number 2 and 3. But I suggest this to everyone.

_PAS7612So as some of you may know I am a big reader so I had to get a whole lot of books to add to my collection the books I got are: The best of me- Nicholas sparks, One page at a time, My life next door- Huntley fitzpatrick, The tenth circle- Jodi Picoult, To all the boys I’ve loved before, 642 things to write about.

_PAS7616I collect snowglobes (specifically christmas ones). So my mum and I were on the lookout for one for me and we went into a store called papyrus and saw this and fell in love it also plays we wish you a merry christmas.

Thankyou for reading, I am happy with all of my purchases. Let me know what you think about any of my purchases
