I have recently gone on a trip to Tasmania for a choir tour and took some photos that I thought you might all enjoy!
5:30 start to the day to catch the plane but I was luckily placed on the window seat so I got this beautiful view landing in Tassie
This was our free day where we got to explore Hobart and take lots of pictures and eat loads of food!
Loved seeing this view every morning!
All rugged up for Mt.Wellington
One of the more ‘fun’ activities we got to do was the amazing race which I didn’t quite enjoy as the whole time I was hangry and tired but still a great experience
We went for a quick trip to Mt. Wellington where we froze and got all rugged up for there to not be any view as there was too much fog hahah
On one of the days we had a couple hours free so we had a choice of either going shopping or going to an art museum and I went with the art as I knew I would just waste money going shopping but this butterfly piece caught my eye immediately as they are so beautiful.
This was also in the art gallery and its amazing it was a very long painting on a storm with lights behind it to create the lightning
Ice cream in freezing cold weather?!
Brylee and I with our curled hair which we got up super early every morning to do
Beginning plane ride to end both need a window shot
I had an amazing trip and these pictures probably don’t make sense but if you enjoyed them let me know!!
So sorry I haven’t been around much on this blog I have had massive writers block and haven’t had much time with school but I came to the realisation that I can still do simple posts but put enough effort into them that they are up to my goal standard.
I thought today I would just share with you all this picture of my favourite accessories that I wear on a day to day basis. I love rings and dainty necklaces and just small simple pieces that add a little something to the outfit.
I have a lot more jewellery that I wear but these are my go to’s that if I don’t know what to wear I will just pick these pieces up and Im good to go
Today my beautiful friend Miki and I went for a lovely day at seaworld.
We were super worried that it would rain and would ruin our plans as its all outsid but thank the lord it was perfect weather!
I thought I would share with you all some photos I took of the beautiful animals.
Our first stop was visiting the adult Penguins who were so cute, I think penguins are one of my favourite animals now!!!
Same penguin as before
As you can see from this picture it was pretty windy by the water!! All around sea world they had these weird statues of animals like the one in the background of this photo that would move and blow steam out of its mouth which was so weird.
The dolphins were so animated and so beautiful
what a beauty my friend Miki is!!!
We got to see baby penguins!!! they were so tiny and small it was unbelievable. All the other babies were swimming together and this little one was by itself.
The dolphin show was amazing I even teared up a little bit, dolphins are such beautiful creatures! this was definitely the highlight of my day.
here are some shots I got of them:
And then at the end of it all we got to see this beautiful sky!
If you have visited my page in the last couple of days you probably noticed that I have changed my blog and with that I am going to be changing the aim of my posts as well.
The first post to start my new and improved blog is a fashion post. Recently I have been trying to wear all different things that I have in my cupboard that I don’t usually wear and these pants are definitely in that category. I have never really worn loose fitting jeans as Ive always found skinny jeans to fit my figure better, but I thought I might give them a try.
These jeans were my mums that she very kindly passed down to me!
Tip 1. I always like to have the bottom folded
Tip 2. I like to wear a nice comfy T-shirt or a baggy sweater
Tip 3. make the shirt the thing that people look at
Tip 4. wear stylish but comfy shoes
Tip 5. mix and match different things and make it your own
Top- Angus and Julia Stone
Shoes- knock off Birkenstocks
Jeans- stole off my mum
If you want me to do a tutorial on the makeup i’m wearing here let me know.
My mum recently bought me a few new books for the holidays that just went past. I asked her to surprise me as I couldn’t make up mind as to what books I wanted and one of the amazing books she picked up is called – Before I go to sleep by S.J Watson. It is a thriller that you might recognize the name as it in 2014 was turned into a movie with Nicole Kidman and Colin Firth.
As I sleep, my mind will erase everything I did today. I will wake up tomorrow as I did this morning. Thinking I’m still a child, thinking I have a whole lifetime of choice ahead of me…
Memories define us. So what if you lost yours every time you went to sleep? Your name, your identity, your past, even the people you love–all forgotten overnight. And the one person you trust may only be telling you half the story.
From the minute I started this book I just wanted to know why it was a thriller as the beginning seemed so innocent and almost mellow as she wakes up and has no idea where or who anything is. Most of the book I felt bad for her poor husband as every morning he wakes up and his wife has no idea who he is… but if only I knew what was to come.
This book was so thrilling and had one of the best twists in a story that I have read. I enjoyed every minute of it and didn’t want it to end. The movie doesn’t do it justice so read the book. Even if you have seen movie and are thinking “oh it didn’t look too good” trust me I have never been into thriller books but I am now reconsidering my choice hahah
I give this book a 4.5/5
**By the way this book does have some minor swearing and sexual content but can easily be skipped without missing any content. **
